Nourishing & Repairing Mother Earth

We are mid way through the year 2025 and our focus this year is on service to our community through helping sustain our local environment. Through volunteering and fundraising we support local organizations whose mission is protect our environment, rebuild our landscape and educate the community on sustainability.  This year our staff volunteered to plant trees with SOUL and also raised over $6500 for their program. Soul is a local non profit that is spear heading the urban reforestation of the city of New Orleans to help reduce flooding and lower the extreme temperatures in marginalized neighborhoods. Explore their program and get involved. https://soulnola.org/

We also organized an Earth Day fundraiser for Glass Roots, a local nonprofit that offers glass recycling services and creates sandbags from the material to rebuild the coastal marsh lands in Southern Louisiana. They host recycle drop off at multiple locations, offer on site pick and partner with regional organizations to make a huge impact through environmental education and boots on the ground coastal rebuilding. Get involved with Glass Roots https://www.weareglassroots.org/

At Earth Odyssey, we are always actively planning ways to support our community and help in sustaining and maintaining our region. If you have ideas that you would like to share for our next service project please email info@earthodysseynola.com.
